Watermark RnG and time
I know this is a stupid rant and I’m preaching to the choir - at least give me a cp capped style BG so I can progress at whatever slow rate but still hop in on some viable PvP from time to time. The rest is TLDR and in the past I would of disagreed with myself, maybe my schedule no longer permits staying halfway competitive in an mmo
I love this game but damn. Played a ton in t2 and was relatively competitive but I’m having trouble keeping up, i only have 2-3 hours a night I can play
I’ve spent each evening over the last week trying to be efficient as possible and only gained a total of 2.5 lvls on my watermark. Been stuck on 60 accessory for three days, ran all my dungeons, used contracts. Then I said screw it I’m going to use my saved mats and level up my skills. It cost 90mil Sollant for 17 yellow Omni books. I get cost of parchment but the sollant? Now I can’t afford a single trait on upgrading cordy due to sollant cost.
There are just so many road blocks to an end game build right now that with my luck and availability I’ll always be behind when the next upgrade comes out, and with the watermark about to go up again I’m cooked.
I’m running tumgr twice a day with saves stones and getting about 2 cores every 3 runs. It’s the only thing that feels like a fun challenge to beat time but even then I’m terrified of opening my first resin flower and getting nothing.
Even if I had time to play more this end game progression loop is like going to the grocery store coming home and going back over and over again hoping some day you’ll have enough money to buy an oven…….
Opened 6 accessory boxes without gaining a level and been getting armor on my epic dungeons
Playing for a week and feeling like you progressed backwards after sollant cost and bad rng on a resin box has absolutely killed the vibe. Somehow I feel like maybe I’m just unlucky as streamers seem to be able to play 5 classes, but maybe the accepted grind time in nix is way higher than I think is fair.
