Yup... Need to ruck more

35 pounds, 1hr+ on a bit of singletrack, but today was not about pace. My dog tagged along and every 25 or so meters he had to do what Goldens do best: shit, piss, sniff, cuddle, sniff some more, snack, snif harder, repeat. He deserves his break and a bowl of water now, watching a local bootcamp group go nuts 😊.

For me though... This walk eased my mind. Needed that. I'll get my 'proper training' next time.

The 'soft' stuff: how do you tackle your stress management?

I'm a very rational dude. Its a strength, but as with everything, it has it's downsides. One of them is recognizing/dealing with stress. Which sucks, because the impact of poor stress management can be huge. In fact, currently, it kinda is.

What's your approach on dealing with life stress?

Asking for myself ofcourse, but also because it seems to be an ignored subject apart from the tangible ones like sleep, trainingmaxes and deloads.

AP/Router/PoE switch brands

Got my cables routed and now its time to replace my Deco M9's. They have some annoying requirements in connecting and positioning.

My wish is to use a PoE switch, from there directly connect AP's. That way I can actually install them in decent spots.

When asking around, I have enthousiastic people steer me towards Ubiquiti. But... When reading reviews that seems overkill for me. Im no power user. Sure, I want a guest network, forwarded ports, a way to look at my connections/traffic etc., but thats about it.

Brand wise, is there an in-between solution?

Would TP Omada still be 'too much'?

Im EU based (NL) btw.

Your experience might help me in doing my homework on the subject.

Place for spotted errors in the book?

Quite a few of us are thoroughly reading TB3. Is there a place to put all the little errors we find so KB can improve the next print?

What do you need in a PT?

44m (does it matter? Lol... Anyway, it gives some background)

Recently finished up my PT certification. It was a pretty serious course. Still, I feel the whole female body/cycles/hormones/menopause could have used more attention.

Currently I'm ploughing through all the articles I can find to deepen my knowledge.

But experience counts too, so: have you ever worked with a (male) personal trainer? What knowledge did you miss? What did they do right? Any tips?
