I’m a 35 year old gay Glaswegian guy who now lives in Edinburgh and having heard of his other book, Shuggie Bain, I decided to pick up Young Mungo by Douglas Stuart.

I’ve not cried at the end of a book, ever, until this one.

It’s funny, dark, heartbreaking and also full of love and I think anyone who’s grown up in this city will recognise some of the characters in the book. Growing up with violent young teams, sectarianism, and Neds who knew I was gay before I did, the book hit me hard.

If your Glaswegian or live in the city, give it a read. Especially if you’re LGBT.

Hi all

I’ve got a DG-303 and I’ve never cleaned out the holes on the underside of the wing as they’ve always looked pretty clear at annual.

I was thinking about getting a piece of metal wire and a small handheld vacuum and trying to clean that way.

I’ve also considered blowing air through the intake’s on the underside of the wing and then using soapy water to identify what holes are blocked.

Any other tips or suggestions on how to do this without causing damage?

Does anyone have any recommendations of good/friendly clubs?

I speak French, but I’m not entirely fluent/native.
