Let me start this by saying I’m not hating on S2- I very eagerly wait for the new eps :) that said there are a few things that I really wish would happen:

Cemet wedding: don’t want any of this jealousy/ex drama. Those two got their own fanbase because 1) Demet knows what she wants and goes for it and 2) Cemal is the love guru, so they don’t need any of this. Let’s see that wedding!

MerTes Cemet friendship: I hate how little those guys interact! I want to see MerTes on Cemet’s case teasing them like they did in S1. And 💯 I want to see MerTes keeping Cemet apart the night before their wedding! Their friendships were such a wholesome part of S1 and I really want more of it!

MerTes relationship: wish they would stop with Mercan dodging kisses. Let’s just make it look like they kiss like a normal married couple or leave it out completely. At this point why is this happening?

Questions to Eylul: I wish someone would ask Eylul what is it that would make her happy. Things that happened cannot be undone, so is she wanting to see her brother divorced? Is she wanting financial support to live on her own? Is there anything Ates and Mercan can actually do that would make her happy? Also, 💯 appreciate she had a shitty life, but wish someone would ask her if she cares what Ates went through and why she hasn’t asked him by now how last 20 years were for him?

The parents: bothers me so much that they have completely ignored the fact that the parents DNA tests were don’t at the same time and same lab as Eylul and no one is even considering re-doing it. I am guessing this is because the parents will turn up to be alive too, but wish they would acknowledge in some way such as the remains are too old and need to go to a special lab and it’s going to take a while.

Anyway few of mine. Keen to hear what do others have on their Wishlist?

I want to hear the theories people have about Hazar, his past, his father/family etc. No matter how wild share please 🙂

I’ve got a wild theory myself if anyone is interested:

What if Hazar is Muzeyyen’s older son that she hasn’t talked about yet? From the last conversation between Haydar and Muzeyyen it sounds like Haydar knows that Muzzy knows the truth about Eylul, so my theory is…
- Muzeyyen’s husband who is also Hazar’s father is the surgeon who operated on Eylul.
- After the surgery he kidnappes Eylul and Muzzeyyen takes her to Salish to keep her safe in case Haydar comes looking.
- Haydar finds out Eylul has been kidnapped by the doc and orders to kill him and Eylul to keep the secret from coming out.
- not finding Eylul they kill the doctor only in front of Hazars eyes
- Hazar witnessing this goes through some mental issues and if put into an institution.
- Muzeyyen tells him that his father was killed because of Ates’ family.
- Hazar grows up with revenge on his mind, because of his troubles from institution to prison being far from his mother and sister 🧐
- from grief Muzzy ‘miscarries’ and as her own revenge finds Ates and feeds him this revenge idea.

I know it’s far fetched but wouldn’t surprise me. Especially since we haven’t seen Hazar and Muzzy interact yet.

Have I missed something? Why is Ates no re- doing the DNA knowing that the one with Eylul was falsified?

Someone enlighten me- what am I missing?

Been loving S2 so far, but some of the unrealistic writing is so cringe it catches me off guard😬 The fighting scene from the last ep was definitely one those moments.

They are trying to make Mercan’s character a superhuman and the writers are taking it a bit too far. She is beautiful(but doesn’t know it), smart, book worm, far too kind, huge sense of right and wrong, sweet, shy, respectful, feminine, funny, caring, strong willed, so very pure and untouched and of course a ninja fighter.
Now I might be on board with most of these, but in the last ep when they go to Eylul’s old neighbourhood is too much! During the fight with the neighbourhood boys she takes on 2 guys and Ates 1 (what?). With a single kick she knocks out one and throws the other on the ground (albeit not knocked out).
Ates is beating the hell out of the 3rd guy only giving him a bleeding nose, but just as he is about to attack Ates she does another signature kick and he is also knocked out. Is she now stronger than Ates? Is she going to fly next?

Dear writers please stop! She is good as she is- no need to make her Spiderman!!

I’ve come here to vent my frustrations: Why is everyone in Demet’s life being an absolute ass!

First we have Mercan, who Demet has supported through tick and thin. Mercan forced to marry- Demet is with her (even when she is forced to marry Nezir Demet says she will stand by Mercan no matter what she decides). Mercan’s brother is a murderer- Demet is there. Mercan’s father is all kinds of screwed up- Demet is there. Mercan loves Ates now- Demet is there standing with her friend even though against her brother. When Nezir kidnaps Mercan she gets all high and mighty with Demet even though she did nothing wrong. And again now- the girl is literally alone on her own and her best friend thinks “oh she will call or come when she is ready! Maybe Mercan should remember her own words when Murat was killed “I know my brother wasn’t a good man, but he is still my brother”. Mercan has shown more care and kindness to Asli and Muzeyyen at this stage than her best friend.

Second in the guilty chair is Cemal. He had a good start this season, but him telling Demet off for speaking “rudely” with Muzeyyen and then telling her they won’t be griefing for her brother was a huge no! I know I know he apologised, but in the moment he didn’t stand with her and that’s what matters!

Lastly, Ates! Yes he also sucks! Demet has helped him with Mercan and we never see him thank her, in fact he unleashes his anger on her during that kidnapping thing without an apology after. Also, he knows very well his “brother” likes the girl, but never really checks in to see how they are going or how Demet is doing. On the opposite side when Cemal blames Mercan falsely he apologises, always asks Ates how she is when some major things happen. Ates is selfish just like Mercan in this case.

With all that I think Demet should leave. Maybe then her so called friend and love interest will appreciate her! I do want her to be back though because I’m still shipping Cemet. Maybe she sells her house and moves for a bit. Then she comes back and has to move into the mansion until she finds another house. Maybe her and Cemal can share a room otherwise the mansion is getting too full 🤣

Is it just me or is Cemet much bolder than MerTes as a couple? Seems like they are both so touchy with each other though they have had feelings for much less time than MerTes. Demet, unlike Mercan, seems so bold and mature. She often initiates contact and shows her keenness.

If it carries on like this we might actually get better romantic moment from those two than the main lead.

Hi all. Curious if anyone overcame not wanting to be kiss or touched by your partner or hope they would chat so you could have a reason to leave(because they are not actually a bad person)?
Is there hope of turning this around? Or is this the end?
