I I propagated this Calathea from a leaf node of another plant, so it started out with just two leaves.
My other Calathea isn't in the best shape, but this one really makes me proud. It seems to be thriving in the high humidity climate of the bathroom and is currently sprouting four new shoots that are coming up through the soil. She recently got three new leaves, too. Just wanted to share.
Sie war bis vor kurzem in einem Topf, machte sich da aber nicht gut. Ursprünglich war sie mal riesig, ich konnte aus einem Knoten tatsächlich sogar eine ganze Pflanze ziehen. Ich dachte, ich tue ihr mal was Gutes (hatte sogar gerade ein neues Blatt bekommen) und topfe sie um. Dabei sah ich, dass sie nur noch sehr wenige Wurzeln hatte. Ich habe also die Erde abgespült und hatte den Plan, im Wasser weitere Wurzeln zu ziehen, und sie dann entweder weiter im Wasser zu halten (was laut meiner Recherche eigentlich gehen soll) oder einzupflanzen. Es kommen auch neue Wurzeln, aber die Blätter sehen immer schlimmer aus, die Stiele knicken ein - das scheint alles gar nicht gut zu sein.
Ist sie noch irgendwie zu retten?? 🥺 was soll ich tun?
Habe übrigens auch noch eine zweite Sorgencalathea - aber die hat es erstmal nötiger, sonst kann ich sie bald in sie Tonne werfen.
