Sprinkler system installation/repair?

Can anyone recommend someone to work on an old residential sprinkler system? I’ve already contacted Flowcheck and edgelm.com. There are some problems with Flowcheck’s bid (doesn’t really match the work we discussed) and edgelm hasn’t replied.

I think the underground pipes are ok but we want to replace all the sprinklers and replace the controller.

I’m sure these folks are all really busy right now but I would like to contact at least one more place.

Applying for Canadian proof of citizenship? Need photos?

I'm recommending an Oregon business which doesn't meet the "first thursday" rules. However I think this is more of a public service announcement. Many people who qualify for Canadian citizenship are being temporarily rejected because of their photos. It can turn this into a years long process and I want to help. Here goes - delete if you must:

You've probably heard that due to changes in Canadian law, many people with Canadian ancestry are now considered Canadian.  However we must gather documents to prove our Canadian ancestry, and we must send in 2 photos along with our applications.  The requirements for the documentation and the photos are quite extensive, and if you don't get it right they will return your application and you have to start over.  There are many tales of people getting their photos done by folks who promised they knew the requirements and yet they didn’t pass muster.

I was stressing about the photo requirements and I found a passport photographer in Portland near Union Station who knew all about the requirements and did a great job producing the photos.  I came here to recommend him if you are trying to decide where to get your photos.

Passport Immigration Photos and Fingerprinting Services, 439 NW Broadway, Portland

It's worth the drive if you don't live in Portland.  I went mid-day on a week day and had no trouble finding on-street parking.

6-sample blood cortisol test available in the US

After reading today’s post from u/AwesomelyHubble about ubinquinol I decided to look for an at-home CoQ10 test to check my levels. I found a place called Ulta Lab Tests with a large array of tests you can buy (unless you live in Hawaii, New Jersey, New York or Rhode Island). These are not at-home tests but blood and/or urine draws you schedule at a local lab.

The reason for this post is that they have a 6-sample blood cortisol test that you can order. You may know that in the US it is very difficult to get an endocrinologist to order a day curve. I’ve wanted to do this ever since diagnosis and never found a good way to do this. I have done 4-sample at-home saliva tests but I would have more confidence in using the results if they were blood levels, and it would be great to have more than r samples.

Where did all the answers go? IPadOS and Android

When scrolling through posts on the main page I see the post’s title and the first few lines. Under that is the up-arrow and down-arrow for up/down votes. To the right of that is a count of comments on the post. Why is that sometimes when I go to read the post there is only one comment or perhaps no comments when comment count says something like “27”? This happens with several subreddits but the one I notice most is r/AskHistory. I see a fascinating question with a high count of comments and I get so disappointed when these are actually no answers.
