Is this horseradish?

Is this horseradish?

Took over an allotment plot recently and amongst all the weeds is this growing. Googling various things and looks a lot like horseradish, would you agree?

And am I right that I should wait until the first frost, then dig up the root and it'll be ready?

Strawbeerries being drowned in weeds!

Took over a plot recently and am new to this. Spent time de-weeding one little section and ordered some strawberry plug plants that arrived in the post almost dead. Planted them and they slowly came back alive, kept on de-weeding as they appeared. I then got some straw and surrounded the strawberries with it. This straw seems to have encouraged the weeds even further. I don't know how to now get rid of them without digging up the straw and making a mess. Any advice? You can barely see that there are strawberry plans any more!

Second question - since they were plug plants planted a couple of months ago, I guess there will just be a very small harvest this year but they will be better next year? Have seen a few flowers on them but not much...

Is this artichoke ready?

Took over an allotment recently and they had this already growing. Is it already ready? They had chard which then bolted so we missed it, so don't want to miss this. I don't know what variety it is so not sure when it's meant to be ready

Translation civil partnership document?

I'm British and partner is italian. Partner is applying for British citizenship under naturalisation due to being civil partnered with me.

The civil partnership took place in Italy so is in Italian. At the time, I got that document translated into English by a professional translator. Is this okay? Are there certain standards the translation has to meet? Does it have to be apostilled? I can't seem to find details about the requirement so if someone could point me in the the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I then also changed my surname after that civil partnership so I also have the enrolled deed poll document that shoes the connection between my surname on the civil partnership document and my name now.

  • I changed my surname years ago. At the time of the change, I contacted my GP surgery who updated it for me on my records.

  • However only my old, incorrect surname shows up on my NHS App.

  • In the meantime at my surgery I get referred to a hospital as an outpatient and that all gets booked under my old surname, so something somewhere has not updated.

  • Repeated contact with my GP surgery and they constantly confirm that they have updated everything on their side, showed me a screenshot of my record from their side that confirms the new name, and that there is nothing else they can do. They told me to contact NHS England.

  • I contact NHS England and they say it's nothing to do with them, get back in touch with GP surgery. GP surgery continues to say they've done everything.

  • I go back to NHS England and they suggest contacting the NHS app contact form

  • I contact the NHS contact form and they say I need to get back to my GP surgery

  • I get back to GP surgery who again say they have done everything.

Where do I go from here? I really don't know what else to do and don't understand how hard this can be. Don't I have a legal right to make sure that personal data held about me is correct? Who do I even complain to? I keep getting referred between the surgery, NHS app, and NHS England.

NHS app even gave me some advice to pass on to my GP surgery saying to make sure the GP computer system and the Personal Demographic Service PDS are synchronised. I passed this on to my surgery and they had no idea what I'm talking about.
