My sister and her 10-year-old daughter went away for a week, so they brought their little jumper to stay with me while they were gone. He was wild-caught and already quite old, and my sister mentioned that he had become pretty “lazy” over the last few days.

Unfortunately, that didn’t change, and his time came while he was staying with us.

It wasn’t a huge surprise, but it was still really sad — especially knowing how much a 10-year-old girl can get attached to such a tiny creature.

So I decided to take one last portrait of him for her, so she’d have something to remember her little guy by.

These are probably the last portraits he ever posed for. ❤️🕷️
