Horizontal line on a screen surface. Monitor cleaning advice
Hello. I need an advice for my laptop's monitor cleaning. For a long time I have horizontal line on the screen surface. It aligns with the end of keyboard, where plastic laptop case lifts up. It doesn't look like scratches, more like hardened grease with dust, the same as on a keyboard. However, it is flat and can be touched with a fingernail, but does not scrape off. I have tried screen cleaning spray, baby wipes and alcohol - nothing helps. So now I don't know what to do with it and what is this - dirt or some screen layer. Maybe some of you had the same thing. Thanks.
