I can’t solve English Olympiad task. Is it easy for natives and how can I master such type of tasks?
This English Olympiad has 4 stages and in one Olympiad preparation channel I saw some free fan-made final stage tasks and Use of English part is just crazy, here are some tasks from it
I know almost no answers to this because it’s too complicated for me, but I am interested if it is easy for native English speakers? What are the answers because there aren’t any in the group? How can I become better at such tasks?
does my concentration, attention span and mental health in general benefit from replacing doomscrolling and ai with reddit?
I was procrastinating a lot before with doomscrolling. like a literal day could pass that felt just like a few hours and after it I was finding concentrating on reading or even watching 20min videos challenging. now instead of doomscrolling I read posts here and after it I find reading books easier
With ai I had this thing that I was sort of addicted to it. I could even study without it and when interesting thoughts were striking my mind I was instantly writing them to ai literally instead of thinking them out.. now if I have any questions I search similar questions to mine here and I find really valuable answers to them and most importantly: i started counting on my own thoughts when making decisions, not delegating them to AI
so now my procrastination didn’t stop, I just waste my time in reddit. ik procrastination is bad anyways but what I really want to know is if procrastinating here is better than doing it via doomscrolling and ai?
(sorry if I have some mistakes, not native english)
