Locksmith recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a locksmith to rekey a few entry doors. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Mentor, OH area? TIA

I (36F) have a pretty surface-level relationship with my stepmom (68F). She got together with my dad after I was already away for college, and I don’t really view her as a mother figure in my life. I can tell she wants me to have that relationship with her, but there have been some incidents in recent years that have made me go no/low-contact with her.

Example: a few years ago, she called and asked me and my partner if we could help them move, like 4 days before the move. I had already offered to help multiple times in the months leading up to the move, but she always refused, saying they didn’t need help. So then it became an emergency with them needing help 4 days before they move. During the phone call, I said (calmly) multiple times that I’d need to check with my partner to see if they’d be available to help, prior to saying yes. But it’s like she wouldn’t take no for an answer, and got super angry with me. It escalated to the point where at the end of the phone call, she said, “Fine, then we won’t ever expect any help from you again, and don’t expect us to help you ever again.” I said “Fine!” and hung up on them (my Dad was on the call too, but didn’t say she was being out of line or anything - IDK why he puts up with her craziness). After that I went no contact with them for nearly a year because it stressed me out so much.

Since then, I’ve tried to slowly re-establish a connection with my parents (with actual boundaries), mostly because I want to stay in touch with my Dad. I don’t care about my stepmom but it’s like, if I talk to him I am forced to talk to her, too.

Mother’s Day is coming up, and I feel like I should make an effort to visit her or call or something, but I feel like I’m doing it out of guilt, and not actually caring about her. I’ve been kind of spotty with my Mother’s Day tributes to her since she’s been with my dad - starting with a more honest effort in the earlier years before she was so horrible to me, and then dwindling down the last few years since she’s been increasingly bitchy.

Reddit, WIBTJ if I don’t do anything for her for Mother’s Day this year?
