Anxiety Nausea

Background: I've been incredibly anxious since I can remember, as early as 8-10 y/o. I'd wake up in the middle of the night occasionally as a kid and anxiously pace around my room in the darkness because I felt like I was going to get sick. This persisted through my teenage years into early adulthood. My anxieties focus mostly on health/hypochondria. I'm currently not on any anxiety medications.

However, within the last week, I have been feeling persistent nausea that waxes and wanes throughout the day. I'll have a brief moment of relief, 20-30 minutes with no nausea and all I can think about is "is it gonna come back, is it over?". This is incredibly rough as someone with hypochondria/health anxiety because now I am convinced I have some sort of underlying cancer causing this nausea. It has really impacted my eating, as I cannot even think about food when anxious/nauseous, and it seems my brain has somewhat linked eating to nausea cause it tends to come with eating. I went to an urgent care recently and they prescribed me zofran odt, ive been taking it but it doesnt really seem to work? I have read that anxiety nausea doesnt really get quelled for a lot of people with zofran. The only thing that tends to give me relief has been some CBD/THC gummies I have. If I take 2.5mg of one of those I can usually feel no nausea and yesterday I even ate an entire meal during it.

The feeling is very specifically in my throat, i have no stomach pain, fatigue, fever anything, just nausea. Has anyone had experience with daily nausea and if so what are some things you have done to help deal with it.
