Found sleeping bag at the parking lot

We were walking from the parking (the one with all the metal plates in the grass) and found this sleeping bag I guess someone dropped :) it’s being delivered to the lost and found now!

A Kelly bracelet to complete the stack

My store only had the rose gold available to try on, but what a beautiful piece! I also considered the Kelly Chaine, but heard it can flip around easier… decisions, decisions!

Anyone with both versions care to share their experience?

Spready toe (singular)

And spready… legs? Please pardon the nip slips. 🤭

(Also her bald belly has been monitored by the vet before- there’s nothing wrong with her, the hair just never grew back after over-grooming. No need for concern!)

Does anyone else decorate with their Hermes pieces?

This is my own “Impoossiiible” scarf 100 I had framed. I knew from the minute I saw it that it needed to be on display in my home!

So I’m curious: what Hermes items do you have out on display in your home (aside from the obvious things like pillows and blankets). I’m thinking: scarves, china, trays, books, ashtrays, etc. I feel like there must be some really beautiful things, so please do share!

Alternative title: My boyfriend is literally the Kris Jenner meme, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up?” but at Hermès

Background: Ever since my partner and I got together, he’s had this idea in his head that he’s going to get me a Birkin with basically no pre-spend. He says he loves “impossible challenges”, so now every time we travel, he wants to walk into Hermès and just… ask if they have any bags.

Visiting his hometown (Rome), I explained to him that I was fine not going shopping this time because I wasn’t in the mood for the usual experience, aka polite rejection with “Sorry, we don’t have any bags available.”

It always feels a bit like a humiliation ritual to ask, so I came up with every excuse. “It’s raining, I’m literally in workout clothes/ not dressed up, I look like I just got off a plane, they’re not going to have any bags anyway” etc. But he was not persuaded.

We go in (slightly damp) and he asks about quota bags. They explain (in Italian, so I’m already mentally gone) it’s for locals, then ask if there’s anything else I want to see. I say maybe a Picotin, but they don’t have any. The SA disappears… saying she’s going to see if there’s anything else I might like, and stays gone for a solid 15 minutes.

At this point I’m already spiraling to my partner like, “What if she actually comes back with something and I hate it?” I’m picky with what I wear and what fits my wardrobe, and I didn’t even mention I only wear yellow gold. If she comes back with silver hardware I’m going to have to politely reject it and I’m not built for that kind of interaction. I didn’t even want to be here in the first place! 😂

She finally comes back with a box, opens it very slowly and carefully, and pulls out an In-the-Loop 18 in Rouge H. I actually gasped, which feels so lame because it’s not that deep, but I was so excited because the color is the most perfect burgundy that fits perfectly with my wardrobe. The bag was exactly what I would’ve chosen, only I had never seen it before.

Before I could even process, my boyfriend just goes, “We’ll take it.” Then hits me with, “I have to buy it for you purely as a lesson: if you don’t ask, you don’t receive.” So yeah. First Hermes bag acquired!!

And just to be very clear: I know it’s not a Birkin. I was not expecting a Birkin, and realistically that was never going to happen walking in like that. But getting offered a bag at all felt genuinely so exciting!

Since getting this bag in January, we’ve been to nine different Hermès stores in five different countries and, yes, my partner has shamelessly asked for a Birkin every single time. 😂
