Title.

So I had to paper file this year, but I owed on my taxes. I didn't want to have to go through the trouble of sending a check/money order so I just paid through my IRS portal. The transcript shows the payment as a credit on my account so I know it's been recorded. Unfortunately, my return still hasn't been processed. last year I mailed mine out mid-april and it wasn't processed until the end of June. I'm worried that this year's one might take even longer, since I accidentally mailed it to the wrong processing center (supposed to be texas, mailed it to missouri). Is there anything I should do as a precautionary measure? I don't want to fall into any legal trouble or get hit with a fine.

edit: I didn't owe on last year's taxes so I'm specifically worried about my situation this year
