Luca Records. Waterford gem.

It’s hard to not give some props to Luca Records in town. Was back in there today, greeted by Ryan as always the second I came in the door. If I’m not mistaken it’s run by Ryan and his brother and you couldn’t meet nicer lads. A record shop where you can buy anything from techno, pop all the way to New York punk and hardcore aswell as your skating needs with some good coffee. One of the nicest staff members in the town and some small gigs thrown that always kick off and very rarely encounter arseholes at them. Caught my favourite band Civic all the way from Australia in that tiny intimate venue. I hope these boys keep going for a long time. A little independent shop like that is exactly what town has needed. I wish ye all the best going forward and I’ll definitely be supporting ye more as this cost of living crisis eventually levels out a bit. Best of luck with it all lads - Fishy.

Epilepsy and weed

I live in Ireland and have smoked weed almost daily for the last 10 years. All my neurologists tell me to quit and that all weed is dreadful for epilepsy. My epilepsy was brought on by a TBI. Anytime I do quit my seizure activity triples.

I see other posts on here talking about how their neurologists and doctors have told them to continue using since it seems to help and they’ve been a regular user already. This all seems to be in legal countries. Medical weed was never studied here in Ireland in most colleges and it’s not on the curriculum for medical schools either from what I’m told.

I do everything else my doctor tells me to but quitting the weed has led to really intense seizures that are worse than any I do have if any when I’m using THC. I smoke flower, about 3.5 a day if that is important too.

Has anyone else had experience with this or any recommendations for cutting down or quitting
