I am literally never driving into the train station again

Its like The Purge over there. No rules everyone for themselves and to hell with courtesy. Was coming from the bridge hotel side and in left lane intending to take second exit into the train station when this completely impatient cunt driving a tyre or automobile business van, cant remember the name of it, nearly slams into the back of my car. Then he has the nerve to beep me as if I was in the wrong. Raging I didnt get the registration but im more happy im in one piece. I mean where the hell did he think i was going considering I was driving straight towards the station!?

Im amazed there aren't more serious accidents going into that train station .

Anybody know where to buy tabs here?

I hope it’s okay for me to post this in this subreddit. Does anyone know where to find acid tabs? I asked my friend and she didn’t know anyone who really sells them. I’m really curious as I’ve been wanting to try them for a while. If anyone knows the price range for that sort of thing that would also be helpful!
One more thing I would prefer if all the fake plugs would js save their time instead of Pm me thanks
(Sorry I’ve had weird experiences on this subreddit)

EDIT: GUYS IM NOT A COP. I genuinely do not know why everyone’s accusing me of being a cop. Maybe I was too formal idk. I don’t really know how to prove I’m not one but honestly be fr what cop is posting in a Waterford subreddit about acid tabs 🫩

Does the stable yard still sell Israeli products

Remember walking through there a few years back where on one of their stores that listed all the countries in which they sold products from and one of them happened to be Israel. Haven't been in Waterford again for quite a while but I have seen anything from the company in regards to stopping supply

Reputable Phone Repair Shops in Waterford?

Hi, accidentally managed to crack my iphone 14 screen while walking and then crushed it under my foot along the sidewalk 💀, does anyone know any reputable phone repair shops in Waterford?

Yes I know there's plenty of them in town but this is my first time going to a repair shop so I was wondering what places have decent prices (won't be ripped off) and are trustworthy. I have trouble sometimes deciding where to go because reviews online seem to be mixed everywhere so if anyone has any personal stories that would be great.

Also would be great to know which ones I should avoid as well and why.

Recommendation needed- power washing and gutter cleaning- Waterford city

Hi all, can anyone please recommend a company that provide power washing and gutter cleaning- needs to be reliable, this is for my elderly parents and they have been ripped off before by the door to door lads! Based in the city, gutters need a good clear out and the drive is paving stones that are plagued with weeds. Very grateful for any recommendations- don’t live at home anymore so want to be sure I get a decent company. Thanks

Spice World Closed?

What's the story with Spice World on the Quay? One half of it is now a barbers and the other side has papered over windows saying that it's closed for maintenance. Will it actually reopen or is it gone? I love that place n hate if we've lost it

Hello , I’m thinking to walk from Waterford Greenway to Dungarvan , approximately 45km walk.

My question is how can I return back from Dungarvan to Waterford again ?

Is there any bus option in the evening ? Anyone wants to do together ?

Duncannon - beautiful beach

While on holiday last week, we stumbled upon the charming village of Duncannon. What a stunning little place! Beautiful beach and quaint olde worlde architecture. It even has a beach sauna and well-being centre. Best if all, the coffee and bread from the Lumi bakery are to die for. We will be back!

Dog cruelty Carrickphierish Rd

Anyone pass a certain home with a horse and trailer outside with a dog tied to it so tight that he physically cannot lie down. How do the guards just drive past this on the daily. Culture ay ?

Septic tank advice please?

Hi,

I want to get some quotes to replace my current septic tank system with a new one.
I don’t think space is an issue.

Has anyone got advice on what companies to recommend or avoid?

My current system is very old school (old country house). I don’t want to go crazy on price but definitely don’t want to go cheap and regret it in a few years. There seem to be lots of different options from your traditional type to round systems that seems to be very fancy. I’m really clueless about this type of thing so would appreciate any guidance on what to look out for! Thanks.
3 person home by the way!

What is the limit for finders-keepers for money on the street?

It's the middle of town, generally high volume but not right now. You find some money on the ground not in a wallet or purse, no identifying features and there is no-one else around.

How much is too much before you hand it to the guards?

Tramore History - The Pier / Cove Road

Hi all, tracing the family tree at the moment. Does anyone know if the Pier restaurant was ever a house / grocers?
Relations of mine lived in what was called “Leone House”. Patrick Kiely’s occupation was a grocer & it was his own shop as per the 1926 census.

On the census return it’s listed between Dahlia Cottage & the Ritz.
It had 11 windows to the front meaning it must have been a good size house.

Searching Leone House on google just brings up Lyon terrace which I don’t think fits the criteria. It’s not named on the old maps or the heritage buildings.

Thanks 😁

West Pharmaceutical Waterford

We got pulled into HR because an Associate Analyst was sleeping with an intern pharmaceutical science student in the workplace 😭 If any of ye are working in West, you’re probably thinking ‘the lab rats are at it again,’ and honestly, it’s kind of true. And as an analyst, I’m disgusted at how predatory some West Analyst men are towards interns. I kinda feel bad for the Intern she looks so clueless and naive, little did she know the guy is just using her 😭
