Fitz Roy Hike (Laguna De Los Tres) with 9 year old

Hello everyone, I am planning a trip to El Chalten in late november, with my wife and a 9yr old boy, who I must mention, is adventurous and travels with us patiently. I am exploring the option of staying overnight at Camp Poincenot and then doing the final leg of De Los Tres Hike the next day. has anybody that done with family before? Is it safe especially considering the wind and a 9yr old? If so please provide honest dos and don'ts. Thank You.

Chile/Argentina Travel

Hello fellow travellers!

Below is an itinerary that I am trying to plan for.

Fly from SCL to PNT

Spend 2-3 days time driving around TDP

Take a transfer to El Calafete and stay there for one night

Fly to Ushuaia from El Calafete, Spend two days at Ushuaia

Then fly to Buenos Aires (1 day rest)

Then fly to Iguazu, (Stay one night)

then back to Buenos Aires and fly back home.

What do you all think? The part I am not sure about is transfer between TDP/Puerto Natales to El Calafete. What safe and convenient options do I have?

Net worth and investment

I am 41. I currently have 700k invested in the market in a brokerage account that I handle myself. I have 472k in a 401k account from my previous employer that I have not touched yet. I also have 1.1M from my previous employer stocks that I have not encashed yet. Will do so next year with almost 15 to 20% upside on it. My wifez who is 41 too, has 450k in a 401k account with her employer. 220k in a high yield savings account. Own a 750k worth primary home with 350k debt on it. Own an investment home worth 700k with 200k debt on it. So, overall 3M accounting for equity in investment home and debts on both homes. I am not considering primary home into net worth. I have a 9yr old son. We both still do a full time corporate job that pays us around 630k before taxes. How am I doing compared to similar age group out there? Thinking of retiring around early 50s. You all don't need to tell me your $$ but just needing a perspective.

How many experienced people have left your team/office?

I have heard of a few experienced people leaving the company lately. By experience, I mean fully ESOP vested people. A couple have left my office and I know the toxic management being the reason. But a lot of people including me, ride out the toxic management due to ESOP and I am just interested in what others think and especially what the people that left, thought.
