This album was a life saver, it came out when my parents were getting divorced and I was in a really rough mental state, and especially with the fact that the album talks about topics I was struggling with, I can’t thank lovejoy enough, even if they’re not reall
Finally got my ost vinyl and now all I need is the second to one vinyl and I got all of them :D
(Ignore Arctic Monkeys on the left lol)
I love the ost covers but I am a HUGE fan of common touch inverted along with the main album cover (before anyone asks, I used the photoshop app and my bad photoshop skills)
So I am LOVING the heavier side of lovejoy and my only real complaint (IF I had to chose one) is I guess the production on curse these metal hands???
Everything else is peak
Alphabet: 9.5/10 so catchy
Snake oil: 9.8/10 love the heaviness
Curse these metal hands: 8/10 good just less sauce than the rest (idk how else to put it lol, still good tho)
The vows: 9.3/10 how is this the same band as one day?!?!?!? (Such a vibe)
I understand how some are not a fan of wasted summer BUT here’s my opinion
Yay!:
The chorus is soooooo good
Best production we’ve had (I think)
The music video is very creative and fun
The song is very lovejoy
JUST ANOTHER, FLAME TO SMOTHER, JUST ANOTHER, WASTED SUMMER (I like the chorus)
The lyrics are great also :3
Eh…?:
The vocals are unique but I’m still deciding if I like them or not
Nah:
I guess i understand why people dislike the vocals in some areas
