Am I rightfully upset by this job?

Paid $900 for this paint job on my jeep. The job was for the hood and also the door blended to the fender, which was new. When I first got it back there was a fking mosquito in the clear coat and all over there was haze from what I assume was a sanding attempting to get rid of bubbles before it was cured.

Took it back a month later (he asked to let it cure) to have him buff out the issues. Originally he was going to respray the hood entirely but ended up buffing out the bug. In the process left behind a million swirls, pigtails, and scuffs. Additionally he replaced my windshield nozzles and destroyed the new clear coat around the nozzles.

After picking up the car (dirty) I washed it and was just like wtf is this? The door wasn't even buffed out like he said he'd do and the overall job was ass. After sending a text with photos addressing these issues he's ghosting me for 3 days and I'm considering getting estimates from local shops and just taking him to small claims for the damage.

I was able to fix most of the superficial scratches with a 2 step polishing but the pigtails would require wet sanding.

What's everyone's take, is this a $900 job, did i get what I paid for? the guy has 30+yrs experience.
