I was planning on buying the pass, since I have to go from Nara to Fukuoka and it covers the 7 days. From 27/6 to 03/7 or 28 to 4, 1 day is wasted since i leave Nara on the 28th but whatever.
From what I understand, once you pick it up it activates but on the JR West website doesn't have Nara as pick up option, and I would have to pick it up on Kyoto, which it's on route but I would be losing on 2200yen from Nara to Kyoto that the pass covers in theory.
It's not much but after all the math to check if it was worth it, i'm going to be petty.
But also the JR West website it's shit and didn't take my credit cards for booking other trains, JR East did take them, so maybe I can't even buy it from there. Which means I have to buy the voucher on other site to exchange for the Pass, but would I only be able to exchange it only on Kyoto same as before? And does it activate as soon as you exchange it or can you specify a date?
Anyway I have those doubts so if anyone can help, appreciated.
