What do VRE employees do in DC all day while awaiting the train south?

Go to brunch? Work a second job?

This question is eating at me. There must be a VRE employee here who knows the answer.

These are David Austin Strawberry Hill climbing roses. I planted them exactly 3 weeks ago in zone 7b. I used to have James Galaway climbing roses that grew great in these spots. But I don’t remember them taking 3+ weeks to grow.
