Sego Palms Yellowing - I need Help/Advise

2 sego palms, have been yellowing for about a year, and now noticed some of the outer frond tips are drying/breaking easily. Phoenix heat and in full sun all day. Soil appears to drain well and took them off the automatic watering system a few weeks ago. They were getting water every day and now being hand watered once a week. I thought they were looking yellow due to over watering and the extreme heat here. Now I am starting to question if I am doing the right things. Should I consider digging them up and transferring them to a pot in the shade?
