popculturemaniacs.comCan anyone recommend non-WWII Alternative History Books
I enjoy alternative history novels, like Fatherland and The Man in the High Castle, and I have Dominion on my bookshelf. But all these books are about what if the Axis won World War II and I'm looking for novels that look at alternative scenarios. Ideally more realistic scenarios, not ones that turn the world into a radical steampunk fantasy

popculturemaniacs.comAlastor's Real Thoughts about the Hotel?
I think this would be an interesting topic. He called it a stupid hotel when he spoke with Rosie, and in the pilot, said he was only interested in sadistic entertainment. Alastor is clearly a character who only really cares about his self interested, and being near some powerful people can be handy.
The main reason I ask is because of what Alastor said to Mimzy, saying she can only stay at the hotel if she's serious about trying for redemption. That would imply does treat Charlie's dream with some seriousness, but considering Alastor, he might have said that just to keep a troublemaker out of the hotel.
