i did it, i finally put in my resignation. i just can’t deal with it anymore. maybe i have terrible management but i feel like this job (and these people) have taken years off my life. the final nail in the coffin has been Power of M, Marriott has provided zero support or guidance through the transition and quite frankly doesn’t care about the impact it’s had on the staff and guest experience. i’m moving to an independent brand end of month.

i might quit over this. my property has had ZERO support from marriott int; no trainers, no one answering or resolving tickets, every level of staff is so lost. we have lost SO much money not only in day to day guest reservations but we have lost huge sales contracts. i have thick skin and have work in a customer facing job my entire career and the amount of nasty guests who won’t even attempt to understand what is happening on our end and berate the front office employees has me losing sleep and coming to work anxious every day. i loved working for marriott until now and im considering resigning.

i genuinely might quit over the new PMS system. i miss FOSSE dearly. the new program is SOOOO SLOW, the Marriott training was absolutely fuxking useless in preparing us and it is really hurting us in guest satisfaction.

has anyone else switched over yet? does it get better? is there light at the end of the tunnel?
