changing careers at 35

my husband is looking to change his career he just turned 35. he is a hard worker and dedicated but unfortunately he does not have a degree and right now he works at USPS as a carrier. we need to make more money for our future family on both ends.. any suggestions? he has applied to court officer, MTA, LIRR, local 138.. he cannot obtain a CDL due to past history of TBI. We live in NY, if anyone has any suggestions or knows about anyone hiring that my husband can make a better living off of please let me know

i am just curious if anyone else experienced or had any drama! i sobbed on my way home and even for a week after and i still think about it because i see everyone else going on their bachelorettes now and wonder how could it be so perfect? well mine was a weekend away and it was so fun until the last night.. i had my closest friends, cousin and two SIL.. we were out to dinner and now mind you most of us have been drinking all day etc but we were pretty much sober at dinner .. i did get myself an extra drink but im the bride and it was STRESSFUL wedding planning so im going to let loose as alll brides should be able to around their dearest people! well our waitor came over and i was messing around with her like joking and she seemed to not love my jokes with her so i gave her a stank face lol now i have been a waitress and a bartender for years and have never been disrespectful to a server .. but for some reason i was giving this girl a look i didnt say anything but just looked at her weird.. my gf next to me took me to the bathroom and when i came back i was informed my SIL was freaking out that i was out of control.. all my friends were confused and appologized to the waitor on my behalf.. my sil told my friends “we need to leave right now”.. mind you there was no disrepectful words or any words said to the waitor.. i actually smiled at waitor thanked her and we left .. my friends were pissed that it was made into a big ordeal when it wasnt a big deal what so ever.. now that i have drinks in me i start to become emotional and i cried most of the night while we were out because now the two groups are seperated, my bestfriend is trying to talk to my SILs about why im upset i feel like their mad at me etc.. and it was just a whole back and forth all night.. we ended up leaving and going home and once we got home even my bestfriend was so upset that i was hurting on my bachelorette.. i think what happens is when you mix groups and when some people are not okay with you letting loose or making a mistake it turns into something and then all feelings come out.. fast forward my wedding day was great and everyone got along and had a grand ol time
