i wish you could turn off town music without music boxes
title is pretty self explanatory but i still kinda wanted to ramble about this lol

i miss being able to visit my different towns and just sit there and listen to the music in 1.3 and while it is a small difference its a difference i really miss
​
i dont hate the town music but they definitely aren't my favorite tracks in the game, they feel a bit too different to the rest of terrarias ost and it can feel a little jarring sometimes
​
music boxes are an okay solution but they have five main problems
​
- locked behind hardmode
​
- very expensive to supply all your pylons with them
​
- the range on the music box often isnt large enough to cover the whole town and you might need multiple
​
- they cancel boss/event music
​
- they dont change to the biomes night theme without weird complicated wiring stuff
​
i wish there was a setting or secret seed to enable/disable the town music, while the music can be helpful to tell if you're in a town or not, it can be kinda grating
