New rule and copyrights
Hello everyone, it's been awhile. We have some updates for the subreddit that's been a long time coming.
New Rule
We can't believe we have to add this, but racism, misogyny/misandry, toxic masculinity, victim blaming etc will NOT be tolerated on this subreddit.
This is where we draw the line on snarking. If we see long-standing historical evidence, it's going to be an immediate ban.
Also to add, we're not associated in any way to other certain Asian subreddits...
>7. No hate speech
Content that is bigoted or hateful, including (but not limited to) misogyny, misandry, homophobia, transphobia, toxic masculinity, racism, classism, ableism, victim-blaming/shaming etc will NOT be tolerated.
Copyrights
So prior to this, we said we'd keep this list confidential, but we're tired and we don't want people's accounts getting banned or this subreddit to go down.
This is the public list on the wiki of creators who have copyright claimed us.
It's been a pattern that content creators are abusing the DMCA takedown. We have asked other communities and somehow they do not have this problem only this subset of influencers... Sometimes influencers will modmail us to take down the post which we comply with immediately which is highly encouraged.
Tips to avoid copyright claims based on Reddit guidelines which you can read plus other tips:
- keep post text only
- Significantly transforming, parodying, or satirizing the screenshot prior to posting
- credit the user
