My group and I will be heading to Mt. Rainier this weekend to camp (hopefully at Cougar Rock campground if my friend snags a couple FCFS sites Friday morning). We’re compiling a list of things to bring. We’ve all camped before and know the basics, but I’m looking for gear ideas that people often don’t think about/things people overlook when camping out there. The weather will be coldddd this weekend compared to the past few weeks. Some rain and potentially snow expected Friday. We’re all mentally preparing for it.
