I’ve had the Mirena IUD for 5 years now and I’m thinking of getting it removed. I’ve been on hormonal birth control for 14 years and don’t know what my body feels like without it, so I’m nervous of what to expect. If you’ve had the Mirena IUD removed and did not start any other hormonal birth control, will you share your experience? I know every body is different, but should I anticipate cramping, mood swings, sleep disturbances, appetite/weight changes, etc?
