I got lost on the internet again and came across Google's Meadow Point project in San Jose, and the whole mystery/lies surrounding it.
The project is reportedly classified as a research and development facility, but the publicly available plans describe nearly 500,000 square feet of server racks, a proposed 250 MW electrical substation, and large cooling towers, which is exactly what a giant AI data center needs to be cooled down.
Has anyone else looked into this? If this is true though, isn't this absolutely terrifying ?
I recently received $45,750 from a lawsuit after facing discrimination at my previous job which led to me being fired. The case wrapped up last month and now I want to act smart with this money.
I'm 23, have no major debts, and I’m not sure whether I should invest it or keep it as an emergency fund.
No one in my family is particularly good with money so I don't really have anyone I trust to ask for advice.
What should I do with it ?
I know I’m late but I just saw Cursor got acquired for $60 billion even though they still produce bs code (from my own experience). This is why I think AI QA is going to be the next unicorn machine.
Hear me out, it’s extremely easy to make thousands of line, but how much of that is quality code ? Every AI coding company is going to need an AI QA layer, and startups like Greptile, Pond, and BugBot will be used massively once they become ultra performant.
You can't change my mind.
