Recently started a project with my Pentax 67 documenting a community that will be wiped off the map

This project involves the small community of Sites in Northern California. Sites is located in a valley that has been deemed to be the last suitable location for a reservoir in the whole state. For this reason, a series of dams will be build and the valley will be flooded in the coming years, thus dooming the town and its 140 year history.

I also made a video sharing this project as well as the history of Sites, so feel free to give it a look: https://youtu.be/zvRmYtA3ljc

The camera cost $60 at Goodwill, which is definitely a far cry from the $5 Olympus Stylus day. Fortunately it did have 7-day return window and I was able to test the camera with a dummy roll, so I was 95% sure that the camera would be fine for my photo trip to Utah.
I did share a video documenting the trip, as it was an absolute blast! https://youtu.be/u0mrqXhCGR8?si=hi96LDaeQPo9VVpM
