[KH] Good to know - scammer program

had a few local friends bring me around Cambodia the other day. Went to KPS beach to bring my dog for a walk, and i live in sihanouville. Was told previously its the chinatown of cambodia but its slightly quiet now due to the crackdown.

Browse around and was mindblown by how the softwares and programs are pushed on street probably because footfall have dropped. I am Chinese but not from the mainland, but everyone there was literally surprised i could speake english (me and my khmer friends talking).
Maybe you guys already know of it but for me, its new (i searched and couldnt find it here), so thought it will be useful to know. One guy actually started sharing how it's used for scams. He shared enthusiastically and slowly trail off after realised im here not doing a project (项目).

Went to google it after that and apparently this is how they use it for investment scam (at least what i was told).

the teacher, assistant and members or even the third party (三方) where they act as friend interested in the same investment and use the persona to lend money or subtlely manipulate the victim to invest.
Learned one thing here - that these are all just whatsapp number ( (i read about it in forums after because i was intrigued) where they scanned to log in but they are not in the country so next time just call the professor - probably will come out with some lame excuse saying they are overseas so you can call everyone in the "group chat" or wherever it is gathered.
They wouldn't go through because all of them are one person talking to the victim.
no wonder they needed so many iphones in there.

Any pet owners in cambodia/sihanouville?

hi, quick check if any dog owners here in sihanouville? been many abandoned pets here with the recent crackdowns. took one in after seeing them bitten and left to fend for themselves on the streets and brought for vacination on the assumption it didnt have any after enquiring with a few - (vets here a lil hit or miss).
Not sure if im thinking too much but walking him is stressful with the dead rats and stuff. he is particularly fond of other dogs but i wanted to wait for the final booster to clear. wondering where to bring it to socialize? i searched online most parks/pool is in PP.
Spoke to a neighbour last night and they don't vaccinate their dogs.

First time corgi owner need help

Hello guys, need some serious help here. I am in Cambodia, sihanouville to be exact. With recent crackdown of the illicit activites, many chinese were sent back and there are alot of pets left on streets. Some got along, but some are attacked by the strays. Even so, raised as home pets by previous owner, they werent cut out for the dirty streets here.
One of it was a corgi, probably a year old (figured out when i walked him and the neighbours told me). Took him to vet and also for vacinnation just in case he wasnt vacinated, he was traumatised by the dogs and had a small bite to his right leg. long story short, boy is now recovering well but is acting weird. didnt eat at first, i figured it was because of the new environment. we got many different treats and kibbles and a few of them work. some bites here and there.

a weekish things became better, managed to get his trust with shower and stuff, he come up my bed and sleep by my leg and also started finishing his food. 1-2 weeks passed, he started spitting out kibbles, even bring them to my bed and spit beside me and i swear he blow his nose (hmpm!). First thought was okkay change food, (he had no dental or medical issue - confirmed with vet and he also bites apple and jerky when he feels like it). It stresses me out.

I then tried the 20min trick where you leave the food there and taake it if he doesnt eat and he literally roll eyes and snort (before we go on walks, or when he walk pass the food bowl). First time, he held for 12 hours and he caved. The next time 24 hours and i couldnt bring myself to drag it longer.
I started buying chicken breast, same cycle repeat. love it, then totally spit it out. its the 4th day.

I had 3 dogs before back at home, but there were all miniature (chihuahua, yorkshire). never had such issues. I started reading, google was bs and i found some threads on reddit and spent earlier reading through (im new here!) before realising its a common trait among corgi. He went from a frightened dog to a confident one and pretty overbearing. i tried coaxing, ignoring, sitting there for almost 90 mins once being patient through), mixing pumpkin puree, cucumber, carrot, beef.
I am literally almost preparing to check out another order of gizzard, livers before i decided to just create my first ask here.

For what its worth, i think its really cute but i really need some advice. I mean I can rotate the food, but is there a better alternative?
Also, he gets really really upset after he finish eating with the snorting and sighing and eyes roll, then when i get stern with him, he will come over and lay on my leg, the mindscrewing part is when i pet him and he suddenly went from seeming afraid to ok then he turn his back on me, i caught him at least thrice, walking away and snort his nose.

Im really confused?? like does he hate me and just want to appease me?? should i be firm?? will it scare him given his past? Also, his previous owner probably spoiled/raised him wrong because he is pretty overweight so the portion im giving now is controlled so im worried he is not getting enough but its for obvious reasons since this is a corgi chat.

We seem to be in this ongoing hot and cold war idk how to manage. I don't even know what am I asking from this but i think i need to know whether am i overthinking when i feel he does it intentionally most days (though google says no, and dog doesnt have the manupulative trait).
And what should I do? im pretty sure when i give him his meal later, it won't be touched.
