I’ve always wondered the significance of using a floor light like that for an album cover. And it’s appeared as a repeating motif throughout their visual discography. I know their aesthetic will kind of hard focus on mundane objects, especially during the Year of the Snitch era, but I have never been able to understand what they’re getting at with the cover for Powers That B! I don’t think any of us would have the answer but I just find it interesting. It must be something only the band members know and that’s specifically all that matters to them. Because I don’t know how else it could be decided
