Age of Sail Rant

I have 3 points as a daily Age of Sail player.

So lately I've been playing games where players camp their ships in their base after spawning, abusing that they can damage your ship but you can't damage them back. Can recently spawned ships have like a timer before they lose invincibility? I mean I guess some 30 secs so they can reorganize themselves before getting back into the fight would be enough. Their problem if they don't spawn back.

Can we get friendly fire on ships back? I feel it's kinda pointless to disguise ships when allies can shoot you without repercussions, it would be nice to have it be a gamble; firing at a ship that has your enemies flags and finding out it was your teammates all along. Just like before.

I think carpenters should have friendly fire on their bombs, I feel it was preferable to have them being able to damage their own ship doing good damage. Made players more conscious about the value of using their bombs correctly, maybe having the bomb hurt friendly players could nerf the huge explosion in a way when boarding an enemy ship.

Joining the British is actually more American

Howdy chaps! It is me your fellow American Cowboy Yee-HAH!

I just wanted to invite you all to fight for what's right, and that is fighting for King and Country. You see joining the mighty British is fighting against all those pesky plantation owners running around wanting to keep their horrible institution around, and are we not on the side of Liberty hmm? Yes, yes that's what a trrrue Yankee would do.

Besides the fr*nch and the spaniards don't even like you, they are just using you, and you lads don't like being used right?

Americans love to win am I not right? And the winners are the British Empire, be a part of those winners!

So leave those rusty muskets behind and don your redcoat, we love steak so why not fight on a full belly of delicious Haggis and enjoy some hot tea while your at it. Tally-ho!

This message was not brought to you by the British Crown Propaganda Department, we do not make ourselves responsible for higher taxes on tea and possible health issues from intoxication for consuming Haggis in excess.
