[Language] This TikTok creator hooks viewers with made-up stories just to push undisclosed brand ads at the end

A few days ago I stumbled across a creator who goes by Mu (@theyluv_mu). Like a lot of storytellers on TikTok, he posts videos talking about his cousins, nieces, and parents (in general).

I got invested in one of his stories ("Controlling Parents"), watching all the way to the end, when he suddenly pivoted to talking about his supposed "twelve-year-old cousin" who allegedly made insane money off an app called Hopper. As it turns out, this isn't the only video pushing that app.

Out of his 42 currently-uploaded videos, only two are actually labeled as a "Paid Partnership".

His content follows the exact same blueprint every single time:

- Starts the video with phrases like "If..." or "The problem with..."

- Pulls people into watching a completely fabricated story for over a minute (the videos are around 9 minutes long total).

- Promotes a product or app (like Hopper) at the very end without any disclosure.

He does this on virtually every single video on his page. I recorded four consecutive examples back-to-back so you can see the pattern for yourselves.

I haven't seen a single person in his comment sections notice this yet.
