I was told by body shop that I damage my clearcoat by using Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Acrylic Black Polish & Wax. His trying to sell me ppf for hood which swirls and haze are more visible.

I polished my brand-new Sorento with Turtle Wax Black Polish. Since I don’t have a garage, I had to do it outside in direct sunlight. I washed the vehicle beforehand and applied the polish by hand.
Unfortunately, once I finished, I noticed a lot of haze and swirl marks across the paint. I took it to a detailer in Montreal, and he told me the clear coat had been damaged. He said there wasn’t really a way to correct it and that the only solution would be to apply a clear PPF to the hood, where the damage is most noticeable, to help mask its appearance.

Is there anything I can do or his right about it behind fucked. $1500 for the ppf.

Help? I think I fucked up my clear coat on my brand new car trying to polish it by hands.

I polished my brand-new Sorento using Turtle Wax Black Polish. Since I don’t have a garage, I had to do it outside in direct sunlight. I washed the vehicle first, then applied the polish by hand.
Afterward, I noticed a lot of haze and swirl marks all over the paint. I took it to a detailer in Montreal, and he told me I had damaged the clear coat. According to him, there wasn’t much that could be done to fix it, and the only option would be to install a clear PPF on the hood to help hide the worst of the damage.

White lines on my new sorento 2026 black

What can I do to get rid of these white scratches on my car. Maybe rock scratches from the road? Just got the car n already am seeing scratches. Can someone tell me how to get rid of them without fucking up the paint. Thank you
