• You will not internalize blame for company failures

• You deserve to be creative even when you don’t produce something that society deems beautiful
• You will listen to your body cues and slow down as much as you need to. Drink water.
• You won’t participate in the corporate pissing contests. Solidarity with your coworkers over competition
• You will take advantage of your request time off privileges and any precious PTO you’ve been granted.
• You are worth more than your wage
• You won’t tear your body apart for a corporation that views you as an ID number
• You won’t simp or bootlick for a corporation that would replace you in 3-5 business days
• Your company will never love you the way community can. Find your people.
• You will not work off the clock.
• If you need to call out, you will not take attendance records or concerns for coverage to heart.

What would you add?

Michaels, the corporate craft and art supplies store, fails to understand that corporations owned by conglomerates will never have small town communities best interest in mind.
If this was the case:
- Michaels would pay LIVING wages (not surviving wages, LIVING wages) + DECENT benefits (don’t say your company is family friend if you cant even give your workers adequate family leave)
- Michaels would actually take into account what workers want and need instead of placating us with surveys to make us feel like we have a say but actually do not
- Michaels CARES program would be fully funded by the corporation itself and not its workers (yes, Michaels can afford to do this)
- Michaels would not data farm reward members information and their information would be more protected
- Michaels would not profit off stolen art made by A.I. or mass produced bullshit. Instead would actually provide adequate and affordable resources to local artists and crafters.
- Michaels would not jump to raise prices so drastically and so quickly on shit that has been collecting dust on the shelves
