Any advice to break into Google?

Hey folks

I want to work in google
My sister in law is in google workspace sales and she already referred me

I applied to account manager (large customer sales) but I was rejected after 3 days (the role was tagged for 2 years exp folks, I have 4 years in tech)

Right now I want to apply to creator sales specialist focusing in marketing, influencer marketing, YouTube, growth metrics (5year experience, more aligned in my case)

My background is in industries like telco and hospitality within B2B tech

It can transfer very well because of the core skills (metric monitoring, leadership, account management)

QUESTION IS: do you think Google can give me the opportunity to interview even if I don’t have agencies, programmatic exp or deep martech experience?

Please help!
Thanks in advance :)

Help me see the light please

Help me move on, please…..

I just completed a whole process for a pre sales job at one the biggest tech companies
And I'm facing ghosting after being shortlisted

Here's context:

Applied through a employee referral late April, 1st screening was via phone call (just 15 mins)
Hiring manager interview, and then, panel interview (mock demo)
They provided me feedback related to ROI and presenting data, but overall, it was good! The liked my time management, objection management and "good thread", previously leveraged my assigned coach (comments about my PPT deck was all positive “you’re on good path”), they told me in the panel int that june 15 was deadline for results and July 1st was start date

After that, just pure silence, I asked my recruiter via whatsapp and e mail (no response), the insider that referred me help me following up internally, the told him “the process is confidential, but she’s gonna ask the recruiter coming back to me” but today is July 7TH and i’m still ghosted…..

So… any thoughts? Any help? I’m tired… literally tired, mentally tired….. I have applied to so many jobs in 2 years having a job (thank god) and nothing yet (i’ve been in interviews, being shortlisted, final rounds etc) even with this case that i had a Referral (the 2nd referral i got in 6 years)..... I have another referral for one of the fintech enterprises in the world (VP helped me) and still no 1st contact….. IT’S CRAZY, demoralizing and unfair………

Please, help me see the light…… Thanks beforehand!!!!

Am I the backup candidate? Enterprise SaaS hiring process signals are confusing me

Second time applying to the same top-tier enterprise SaaS company. First process was 7 months ago for a different role (different team/recruiter). Made it to final stages but got stuck

Current process for a Solution Engineer role (LATAM territory):

  • Applied via employee referral late April
  • Recruiter screen: early May
  • Hiring Manager: mid-May
  • Panel interview (HM + skip-level + Principal SE): early June
  • Was told "tentative feedback by mid-June, closing before end of month"

Here's what's bothering me:

✅ Panel went well (ran over time, positive vibes, constructive feedback on ROI framing)
✅ They mentioned a 15-min VP chat is "usually next"
✅ Reference sent me a cryptic "hope you get good news 🙌" message this week

Never asked: notice period, start date, if I'm interviewing elsewhere, or references
❌ Recruiter communication has been minimal (only when I've nudged)
❌ It's been 5+ business days past their "tentative" date

In my first process with them, they asked ALL the logistical questions in the first screen. I could feel an offer coming.

Question for the hive mind: Does the absence of closing questions + radio silence past their timeline mean I'm the backup while they negotiate with candidate #1? Or is this normal for end-of-quarter chaos?

Would love your read on these signals.
