A friend is asking for my recommendation and I am no longer familiar with the entry-level brands/models.

10k isn't a lot of money, especially for a bnew guitar, I accept that there are some concessions to be made so here are my priorities:

1. Hardware - from frets, nut, tuners, bridge, saddle -- they are of utmost importance.
2. Wood choice - alam kong medyo limited dito, but kung may masu-suggest kayo na solid top, would really appreciate it.
3. Electronics - I have a feeling na very rarely lang sya ipu-plug sa amp so kahit hindi ganun ka-ganda, but dapat meron syang pick ups.

I want to use a mask for a layer that I'm working on, but I want the mask to only affect that layer (ie not a parent layer) so that I can move / transform the layer without affecting the mask and vice versa. Is there a way to do this more efficiently?

In photoshop, I only need to click on the link icon between the layer preview thumbnail and the mask thumbnail in the layer.
