Previous building fire, trying to avoid another!

Just wanted to start by saying that I really appreciate all fire fighters. I live in PNW and we get horrible wildfires like clockwork and I am so appreciate of all the work you do.

Background: we had a horrible multi-level fire in our building recently and everyone was displaced. None of us want that to happened ever again so I’m trying to do things to prevent that.
My grease hood doesn’t have an output. Just the fan and light but no tubing upward or anything. It just sucks it into the hood. I attached a photo. My kitchen is constantly covered in grease, I feel like I’m cleaning it weekly. I don’t cook with a lot of grease and I’m sure as hell am not deep frying in my apartment.

Would this be a big risk of fire? My landlord brushed it off so not sure if I’m just overly paranoid now.

Psych Evaluation

Hello, I am currently on WCB-pending due to sexual assaults in the workplace, and threats of gun violence in the workplace and nothing was done by the employer (government). I mentally deteriorated quickly and after 6 months, I went on leave. My case manager has requested that I have a psych evaluation done. I’m really worried because I don’t know why I would need that, as a victim. I initially wanted to just go on stress leave but the employer’s case manager told me that this was for sure a WBC claim on the employer.

Has anyone experienced something similar or being asked to be psychologically evaluated? I do have my own mental and physical health issues, and am medicated, but they only got worse after I was ignored and ostracized in the workplace. I was honest about that in my intake. The union has also taken a backseat and not answering me so I don’t really know who to turn to for questions and concerns. I want to add that I work in the male-dominated environment where I am 1 of 2 women. I can’t help but feel like they’re trying to make me out to be crazy. Due to being unionized, I have been told I have no legal recourse. I guess I am just looking for advice and resources since I’ve been left out to dry.
