I (55M) have been on Hinge for about 5 months. And the most consistent thing I see on women's profile is how so many women express a desire to travel or showcase their travelling experience or explicitly seek a man to travel with.

A case in point, I just swiped through 20 profiles (liked 2 of them) and 15 of them mentioned travelling as a requirement. 75%.

I love travelling as well but I would not even consider it in my top 10 criteria for women. With the limited real estate on these profiles, there are so many other qualities I would want to see on their profiles.

What is it with women and travelling? And why is it so important for the man to show compatibility with it?

Any recommendations for a spot for a romantic walk after dinner?

We will have dinner at Beacon but dont mind driving. We like exploring.
