Chrysler CPO Go Warranty on Non-Chrysler

I purchased a 2019 Tacoma with 21k miles on it from a Chrysler dealer in Michigan. It was a bit of a drive but since it was a good deal I ended up buying it and it came with a CPO Go Chrysler warranty (3month 3k mile). I have put maybe 500 miles on it so far.

My girlfriends started it up this morning for errands and low oil pressure light appeared. So I talked with the dealer I brought it from and they said I could bring it into any Chrysler dealer for repair. Called my local Chrysler dealer since the one I purchased from is pretty far away. They said they can’t do anything with it since it is a Toyota, and I should bring it to a Toyota dealer for repair and they can submit a claim for reimbursement.

Is this true? I cannot find any information on being able to bring it to a non-Chrysler dealer. They also said they wouldn’t be able to even enter it into their system for some reason.

Thanks for any info!

Wheel Fell off After Alignment

I got a call from my girlfriend saying that her wheel fell off on the highway. She had some rumbling and was going to get off on an exit when it flew off. I had her go in yesterday for an alignment because I am in Europe for work for the week.

Is there any reason they would have taken the back wheel off for an alignment? To me it doesn’t look like the lug bolts snapped because the threads are visible through the rotor?

Thank you for any help!
