Just had first colonoscopy at 34 and feel guilty more than anything

I've had a pretty persistent change in bowel habits over the last year or so, going from previously every day but then moving to sometimes daily but quite often every 2-3 days with the odd period of diarrhoea in between.

Got a referral to a GI who recommended a colonoscopy to check everything out. And while I definitely didn't lie about my symptoms and say I had blood in my stool like some people suggest, I feel my health anxiety about the rising prevalence of colon cancer in younger people played a huge part in me getting this procedure.

Thought I'd feel super relieved to get the results, especially since I have young kids, but I dunno just feel ashamed for pushing for this at such a young age and without huge major red flags.

Anyone else feel like this after a similar situation?

I really can't decide if I should proceed with this surgery or not.

I struggle to breathe in through my right nostril, but I can get some air in. My main problem is sleeping, I feel like I can't breathe properly through my nose when sleeping and this leads to mouth breathing at night and pretty severe bruxism.

My ENT basically said this surgery helps some people but not everyone and there's no way he can guarantee it will help. Is there a way to tell from this old x ray whether my deviation is severe enough that I would benefit?

I tried using a nasal decongestant before bed as the ENT said that if this works then thats a good indication the surgery would help, but didn't notice much improvement.

Pretty scared of the surgery and recovery and don't want to go through that for nothing!

Looking for some ideas to replace the river stones currently inbetween these garden beds. The stones are always getting dirty from soil falling out of the beds and let lots of weeds through.

Thinking of replacing them with recycled bricks, but looking for other ideas too!
