COMPLETE FRAUD! Don’t fall for Beatrix Holidays marketing trap in Goa.
I’m posting this as a warning because I wish someone had warned me earlier.
While I was in Goa, a person on a two-wheeler followed us, stopped us, and convinced us to come to Lemon Tree Hotel for a “special holiday membership offer.” We were taken to a presentation where the Beatrix Holidays marketing team spent a long time convincing us to buy a membership.
One thing I noticed is that they seemed to be targeting couples specifically. Almost everyone attending the presentation was a couple, and the entire sales pitch was built around romantic vacations, luxury stays, and couple-friendly holiday packages.
These are the benefits we were told we would get:
- 40% discount on flight bookings
- 5-star hotel stays
- Cab with driver to explore tourist places
- Premium vacation benefits that supposedly made the membership worth the money
Based on those promises, I purchased their membership.
After going through the membership details and checking the available properties, my experience has been completely different. The properties available to me have mostly been 2-star to 3-star hotels, I have not found the 40% flight discount that was promised during the sales pitch, and I have not received the cab-with-driver facility that was presented as a major benefit.
I’m sharing this because this was my experience, and I don’t want other tourists in Goa to get pulled into the same kind of aggressive marketing presentation. Please don’t fall for this kind of cheap marketing tactic, especially if someone approaches you on the road and pressures you into attending a hotel presentation.
Has anyone else dealt with Beatrix Holidays or managed to get a refund?
