Returning to LOTRO!

Hello, all!

I'm returning to LOTRO after some time away. I've been playing off/on for about seven years now, but have never made it farther than level 50. I've returned, and am really sinking my teeth into this game. I've been dealing with some serious mental health issues as of late, and this game is something that I've found myself return to for the solace, enjoyment, and the depth of it's world.

I'm looking for anything you'd want to tell someone who is basically a newcomer. I'm also not an MMO player by any means, but I have a pretty solid grasp of LOTRO, its systems, and all the bits and bobs going on.

So, lay it on me! What should I know, what quests should I watch out for, what's not to be missed? Let me know! I look forward to reading responses from those who know more than me!

If you see me out in the wild, say hey. My name is Wilmeriadoc, I'm on Glamdring.

text highlight not working

i've been writing with microsoft word for two years now due to work requirements, never had any real issues. i have a microsoft enterprise account through my school, as my work is tied in with my school's programming. now, out of nowhere, i cannot use the highlight with color function actively while writing. i can still drag to select text and highlight it after the fact, but i cannot activate the function and type with the text highlighting while typing.

i can still select highlight colors and text colors fine, but they will not show up. i've made sure that the "show highlight marks" option is active. this appears to be affecting all of the documents i have on my word account.

what the hell is going on? anyone know how to fix this?

first timer!

just started playing enderal last week for the first time. love skyrim, everything fantasy/dark fantasy, and rpgs. really, really enjoying. played maybe 15 or 20 hours and i'm just now getting to ark. this game is sooooo good. the writing, the dialogue (i'm a playwright, so a sucker for dialogue!), the questlines—amazing! i also love the mechanical changes; i've always hated skyrim's leveling system, so a more traditional rpg system with quest xp and a class system is amazing for me! plus, the graphical upgrades are amazing! could rave about this game forever. so good!

for a first timer—any recommendations for things not to be missed? no spoilers, please! just point me in the right direction. :) i want to get as much of the amazing stories this game has to offer!
