Staying in Bilbao, but planning to view from the Northern Cliffside (Cabo Peñas). Concerned with clouds near the horizon?

Hey all! After seeing totality for the first time in 2024 in Cape Giardeau, MO, I'm flying out with my fiancee and future mother in law to spend 3 nights in northern Spain next month.

It'll be a special trip, as they've never seen totality before. Because of that, I want to maximize our chances for a clear viewing. They don't see the big deal and I definitely wanna show them how wrong they are, haha.

On the surface, Cabo Peñas feels like a solid viewing spot. A few hours from Bilbao, but with clear views to the Northwest over the water.

I'm concerned about clouds miles out obscuring our view though. A couple years ago the sun was high in the sky and it was much easier to look for clear skies.

Anyone have advice for how they are approaching this? It's my first eclipse near sunset so I'm flying blind!

Hey y'all,

Flying over from the US for the season finale on Saturday with my fiancee and need 2 tickets.

Been keeping an eye on resale on the website but no luck yet.

Anyone have two spare tickets available?
