Dahil sa nangyaring wildfire incident last April na ikinasunog ng famous natural fallen tree ng Mt. Kabunian. Napagdesisyon ng mga tour guides ng Poblacion, Bakun na i-restore ang fallen tree. Hopefully matibay ang ginawa nila at tumagal.

Finally tried the full circuit trail of Mt. Tuwato via San Luis, which was reopened this March 2026. I've been to the Sigay trail last December when I did the Ilocos Sur Endurance and I can say na mas malala at mas masakit talaga tong original circuit trail ng Tuwato pero mas scenic siya at ang daming knife egdes at 360° views. Yung pababa din ang very notorious at demanding sa knees and foot dito dahil very steep sya dahil tatlong steep sections din ng knife edge dadaanan mo to get into the river. Overall I enjoyed the hike and it took me 12hrs 30mins to complete it.
Last sub-30 5k attempt ko wala akong sinusunod na training program at sabak lang ng sabak kaya survival mode tuloy yung attempt na yon, pero ngayon iba na. I've spent 2 months to prepare para naman hindi tayo hirap na hirap sa PR attempt at nagbunga din ang training. Dito ko napatunayan na iba talaga kapag binaba mo muna ego mo at naging consistent ka at may sinusunod na training. Next goal ko is sub-25 5k. Slowly but surely lang.
