The hour stopped being negotiable
For a long time I sat when I felt like it, which meant I sat when I least needed to. Now it's half past seven, every evening, whatever the day was. I don't decide any more. The hour decides.
Most evenings nothing special happens. I sit, twenty minutes pass, I get up. But it's the one part of the day I don't argue with myself about, and that turned out to be most of it.
Does anyone else keep a fixed hour?
Did it hold?
