Like an hour ago or so, I saw that all the rides are closed at universal. Is this because of the strike? Did all the workers just walk out? Power to them! I hope universal caves and gives them the livable wages they asked for. Its just crazy to see.

Edit: im wrong about the rides being closed for that reason, but if the employees are striking rn, i would love to know.

I've been renting a mobility scooter from indy scooter rentals during the con. Theyre set up near door 5 of the convention center. When i was chatting with the guy this morning he said that last night someone took their clipboard with a bunch of the mobility scooter keys and the list of people who are renting scooters. They arent sure if they have enough keys for everyone who booked scooters to get one, and are worried about having to refund customers.

If anyone knows anything, please go talk to them and security. They seem like a small, family-run operation and its going to shitty for people to not get the mobility needs they need and paid for.

I wasn't able to get an amazing look the the hall because of the crowds, but i rember last year, i saw a lot of very unique indie miniature games (such as a 1 to 1 scale miniature game where tou play as bugs and a wargame where the factions wete differnt indegenous tribes and their mythology) and i really liked that kind of niche very different from the popular big name miniature games.

What are some unique indie miniature games are there in the hall this year? Q,

This is going to be my second hhn this year at hollywood. I noticed that so far almost all of the announcements (other than sinners and stranger things 5) have been for non IP houses only at orlando?

Is this normal? When will we get more hollywood announcements? Does orlando just get more non IP houses because it's bigger, so there are more houses in general or is it something else?

Sorry if I sound like a total noob. I would call myself an intermediate mini painter looking to take some of the classes at gencon and I saw that a lot of the ones by Chronicle RPG seemed like they would have things I would be interested in. They seem to be a lot more expensive than the other painting sessions ran by other companies. I was wondering is anyone had done one before and if they felt it was worth the $80-$100 price tag.
