Without a doubt, this man is one of the actors of all time. I wish everyone in the show acted like him.
My Windrose village tour
I posted this earlier today but forgot to turn on the audio, I figured I might as well re-upload it at 4K.
Let me what changes or additions I should make 👍🏽
Theory: Sophia is the Man in Yellow
I have a theory that I've been carefully analyzing after rewatching From for the 11th time. It sounds insane, but at the end, you will see that it's been in our face the whole time. Sophia is the Man in Yellow in disguise.
Here are my main points to support my theory:
1. The arrival into town: Sophia didn't have a normal entrance into town. She was given a ride by a very kind pastor because she got "lost" and was walking alone in the road. This is strange because this event took place after the pastor saw the tree in the road.
Furthermore, Sophia had the power to make the man pass out while he was driving, almost like she had some kind of evil super power. She then tells the people at the town that the pastor is actually her father. This is impossible because she was actually picked up minutes before they crashed, and it seems like that was the first time that Sophia and the pastor met, so this debunks the father/daughter lie that she was saying.
2. Evil super powers: We know that there's a lot of paranormal type activities going on in the town. These events seem to come out of nowhere, with no one intentionally creating them. They happen rather spontaneously. This changes once Sophia comes into town. It can be hard to notice, but if you rewatch season 4 about 7 times, you will start to pick up on some of these patterns. I'll give you 2 examples of Sophia using her evil powers.
First Example: Sophia goes to the pastor, or her "father", who is laying down unconscious in the clinic, and magically wakes him up by just saying "wake up". I mean she prays a lot, but I don't think him waking up was an actual miracle. Plus the scene had a dark vibe. She then proceeds to tell him a few things and then fucking kills him.
Second example: The Sara manipulation. There's a scene where Sophia and Sara are talking in the upstairs room of their house. It's a rather wholesome scene, where Sophia tells Sara that although she slashed her brother's throat, she can see the good in her, and she doesn't mind staying with her (later admitting that she only stayed there because she can have her own room). Sara then says that she will head down to make breakfast. As soon as she steps out, Sophia closes her eyes and starts whispering to herself. We then cut to Sara, who starts to hear voices like she used to before, and it causes her to fall to the floor in pain. Coincidence? I don't think so. Think about it, why would Sophia just start whispering to herself? Unless she has schizophrenia? I think Sophia is the one talking to Sara telepathically, which is another one of her evil powers.
3. The transformation: The last and strongest point of my theory. The MIY walks around the forest, digs up a suitcase, and pulls out a dress that looks very similar to the dress that Sophia wears. It's as if he had that dress ready to go in case that he had to disguise himself and infiltrate into the town. This is further supported by the scene where Victor comes across the yellow suit in the ground and then proceeds to urinate his pants. I was able to deduce that the MIY put the dress on, and maybe in a hurry to catch a ride from the pastor, forgot to hide his suit and left it in the ground in the middle of the woods.
Lastly, and perhaps the strongest point to confirm my theory, we actually see the MIY go through the process of transforming into Sophia. This is, in my opinion, irrefutable evidence. I don't believe that the scene was shot by mistake. I think that deep inside, the writers wanted to let us know that the MIY would come into town disguised as Sophia, but as with everything else, they didn't want to be too direct with it. They want us to put the pieces together and figure it out. Well, lucky for you all, I took the time to analyze all the scenes and came to this conclusion.
What do you guys think of my theory?
